This tutorial will show you how to manage the Google sitemap in OpenSEF |
Tutorial Text
- In this tutorial we will be using the Google Sitemap generator in OpenSEF. This is an easy way to get Google to check all of the pages in your site.
- Begin by clicking Generate XML
- If you don't want a URL included in the sitemap, uncheck the checkbox
- You can also update the change frequency for the page. This will help Google determine how often to visit the page
- After you have made your changes click Save XML File
- Your XML file has now been generated
- You can submit your sitemap to Google Sitemaps by clicking the link
- You can view the XML file at any time by clicking the View the XML File link
