In this tutorial we will show you how to add a category to your Mambo site. |
Tutorial Text
- In this tutorial we will be adding a new content category that we will be able to create new content under.
- To begin navigate to Content >> Category Manager. Alternately, you can select Categories from your control panel.
- To create our new category click the New button in the toolbar.
- Fill in the fields for the Category Title and Category Name.
- You can also change the section for the category
- You can set an image to be displayed for the category
- You can set the access level for the category
- You can also enter a description for the category if you want to
- To create our new category click the Save button in the toolbar.
- Our category is now created and published. It's ready for us to create content under it
