This tutorial will show you how to add a component menu item to your Joomla site. |
Tutorial Text
- In this tutorial we will show you how to create a link to a component in your main menu
- Navigate to Menu >> Main Menu
- Select New from the toolbar
- Select Component and click Next
- Type the link name that will appear on your site
- From the components list select Weblinks.
- Let's make it available to all site visitors by selecting Public from the Access Level drop down menu
- Select Yes if not already selected to publish your link
- Click Save.
- In this window you can see the Web Links link we just created. Let's go view it from the frontend.
- Click Web Links to open the links component
