This tutorial will show you how to add a blog category menu item to your Joomla site |
Tutorial Text
- In this tutorial we will show you how to create a new menu item for a blog content category
- Select Menu >> Main Menu
- Click New to create a new menu item.
- Select Blog - Content Category
- Click Next
- Type the name of the new Blog content category in the Name field
- Select which category the link will point to.
- Now we need to select the parent item. Select Top to publish the link in the top level menu
- Now let's select who should see your blog contents category. Select Public to make your blog category available to all visitors.
- Click Save
- We can see our menu item was created. Let's go see it on the frontend.
- Now let's click on our newly created Blog - Content Category
- You can perform the same steps for creating menu items for Blog - Content Section or Blog - Content Category/Section Archive menu items
